Matt Person

Matt Person is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience in strategy, M&A, and executive management. He's developed a proprietary method for creating high-trust, high-performance organizations, the Square Management System, which is a framework for aligning employees and operating processes to create the desired corporate culture for both employees and executives alike. Additional ideas, including the full 40-element survey, are detailed in his upcoming book, The Culture of Alignment, which is pending publication. Matt has led global corporate development efforts for multiple private equity-backed companies and was named a finalist for Thought Leader of the Year by the Alliance of M&A Advisors. Earlier in his career, Matt was a middle-market investment banker and also spent a decade in executive management and business operations in professional sports, a tenure during which he was recognized by the Colorado Springs Business Journal as a Rising Star. He’s been a guest lecturer, a frequent speaker at industry events and has presented on multiple webinars. Matt holds an MBA and MS in Finance from Boston College and also graduated from Colgate University. Matt joins us from Boston, where he lives with his family—and if he’s not working, he’s likely golfing, chasing classic cars, or finding the next great restaurant.
